Italy, Athens and a Greek Island Cruise: May 1 - 23, 2005
We start this wonderful combination off with a visit to Rome, then Sorrento and the fabulous Isles of Capri.
The Amalfi coast is truly spectacular and we’ll spend time exploring the ancient ruins of Pompei. We stay in
the medieval fortress town of Assisi and have two day’s exploring Florence before rounding off the Italian
sector with a return visit to Rome. Then on to Athens where we board our cruise ship in the port of Piraeus
and cruise through the Aegean Sea, the Dardanelles and the Sea of Marmaras to Istanbul. Enjoy a day
exploring the city before cruising down to the resort town of Kusadai to visit one of the best preserved sites
of antiquity at Ephesus. Our wonderful cruise then visits the islands of Heraklion, Santorini, Rhodes, Patmos
and Mykonos before returning to Piraeus.
Our flights are via Bankok into Rome and returning from Athens with the sector Rome Athens included.
Stay longer in Europe or extend your stop in Bankok, your return date is flexible but additional airfares will
